Week 1: Course Introduction
Getting started with Blender
I've just started with 3D modeling course, and the first two lessons mainly
focus on introductory learning and getting familiar with the software.
No complexed operations are covered in the first week, the main content was a
general introduction to the 3D modeling course. Mr. Kamal explained the
overall course schedule, learning objectives, upcoming content and assessment
methods, helping us to build a comprehensive understanding of the learning
process and to clarify the study pace for the following weeks.
Week 2: Blender Operations
We officially got started with the blender software, learning the basic
interface and operations:
- Get to know the software interface and understand the functions of each panel.
- Learn basic operating methods and short keys.
Single view to quad view: Ctrl + Alt + Q
Move:
- Move only on x axis: G + X
- Move only on y axis: G + Y
- Move only on z axis: G + Z
Clear move: Alt + G
Transform : N
In Class exercise: Create a table

In this practice session, I tried to model a simple table. One mistake I made was choosing an inappropriate shape during the process. I originally used an icosphere for the plate, and it seems weird, I asked for Mr. Kamal's help and he told me cylinder is more suitable for this case.
